Elizabeth Paluga, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Paluga is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and the founder of Enhanced Internal Medicine, a practice dedicated to highly personalized, relationship-based care. Guided by the belief that exceptional healthcare is built on trust and connection, she combines deep clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to help individuals achieve their healthiest lives.

A Michigan native, Dr. Paluga graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and earned her medical degree as part of the charter class at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Michigan, where she developed a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and academic mentorship.

Following residency, Dr. Paluga practiced at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago while serving on faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She later continued her work at Michigan Medicine, caring for patients and teaching as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Paluga has been recognized with the Gold Humanism in Medicine Award and inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national medical honor society that honors physicians who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and service. She is also an active member of the American College of Physicians, remaining engaged with the latest evidence-based practices to continually elevate the care she provides.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys an active life with her husband, Dan, and their three young daughters. She is passionate about building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, connected care that supports prevention, trust, and lifelong wellness.
